Mistress of Beasts Saga: Book One

Mistress of Beasts Saga: Book One

The first book introduces us to Arconia, a land of creatures and magic, beauty and danger. Katrina’s life almost comes to an end in a car accident, but instead of dying, she wakes up in this strange world. Before she can come to grips with her new life, she’s pulled head-long into a quest to save the land. Along the way she meets Castin, a bitter half-elf half-human druid, who hides from himself as much as society; Cypris, a warrior who’s mysterious link to a wizard belies his hatred of magic; and Drestin, a wizard with too many skeletons in his closet to be trusted.

Mistress of Beasts Saga: Book Two

Book Two in the Mistress of Beasts Saga picks up a year after the first book ends. Castin and Katrina find a quiet corner of Arconia to live out their lives. Trouble comes calling when a sorceress decides they’re in the way, and she kidnaps Katrina, sending her back to Earth. Castin and Drestin follow, leaving Arconia unprotected when the sorceress cuts off their means of return. The mages set the task of tracking down the sorceress to Cypris the bounty hunter. He takes Castin’s apprentice, Rueben, with him, but when the young elf figures out a way to track the sorceress, he unwittingly allows her to track their movements as well.
